About Gregg Cestaro

Gregg Cestaro Hello! My name is Gregg. I am a photographer, mostly Food, Fashion, Products, and more. See me at ( www.GreggCestaro.com ) I love collaborating and working with related creatives and artists in studio and location environments to create lookbooks, catalogs, websplash, and print advertising for clients. For me the real joy of my work, is seeing how beautifully everyone's contribution creates a beautiful image. I have been published in Natural History Magazine, Austin Monthly, D, Star, Elle Brazil, Austin Cuisine, San Antonio Cuisine, Dallas Cuisine, Celebrate Austin, Influential, bRILLANT, Wildly Austin, Rare, and the Austin American Statesman. My Austin Fashion Week team won 4 golden boots for their work in Mash-up and other Fashion Week venues. I also am a New York Fashion Week Phortographer. My background is actually in science, specifically a BA and MA in anthropology/archaeology which I still do. Aside from the academics and fieldwork, my main contribution is art. Currently finished a huge archaeological illustration project for the State of Texas (via Hicks and Co), in publication, where I hand drew hundreds of amazing artifacts for thee publication on La Belle (the 1680's shipwreck of French explorer La Salle found off the coast of Texas). My formative years saw me in the jungles of Belize supervising excavations at the biggest Maya site in the region with all the pyramids and structures one would expect to see. Archaeological Illustration published in Natural History Magazine in 1992.
